The Broadway & Defiant sites are gone.
Do not email me asking for files. The answer is no.

I had asked for my sites to not be mirrored. Use of images and content was welcome, but not the layout and the html. For this reason all linking from my index page has been halted.

Does your board normally get spammed like this now?

I've had very good spam protection by banning full top level IP ranges from China and India. These two are new and one was from the ev1.net IP range. They are a Texas based internet provider. We do get a regulart lurker from Texas, but I'm perfectly willing to ban ev1 members. So, no... it'a not normal... but the spam is a problem at a lot of boards. Rik Offenberger's Continuity Comics board gets riddled with spam. Whetteon's "Lyria Comic Exchange" forum gets riddled with spammers creating flase ID'd and linking to myspace pages that are spam. I'm zapping the spam now...

Does it sound like 50's sci-fi movie or am I missing something?

Wowzers! Just on chance I was updating all my bookmarks today and clicked here - not expecting it to be up and running again - but BOOM. Surprised (and happy) to see some life here.

Gone for too long if you ask me.

The content in mainly being made visible for the reference info. In a roundabout way you can thank Angelo Furlan (Catfish Comics) and Brother J. The common interests we've been discussing keeps me just involved enough to not forget about it all. I'm like an ex-smoker sniffing someone else's cigarette smoke. I remember everything I liked about comics, but the negative aspect have just outweighed the positive.

Hello! :D

You mention "some life", and I see that your post was read 152 times. Is that number legit?! If so, that's more eyeballs than I thought were here!

It's from the previous Broadway/Defiant crowd. There were more lurkers. There are quite a few multiple hits each time a post was added.

Ah, so it's all those Broadway/Defiant fans to who I must appeal. Guess it's time to book a "Sinnamon vs. Femme Fatale" Battle to the finish. Loser gets her book canceled. Oh wait ...

I'm curious: who holds the rights to the Broadway characters?

Defiant (excluding Wardancer), Broadway, and all the old Dell/Gold Key Valiant characters are owned by Random House I believe and managed/licensed by Classic Media ( http://www.classicmedia.tv/ )

http://broadway.port5.com is now defunct. The host was bought and they've discontinued the free hosting. As I find bad links I'll check into alternate hosting. All that's really lost is the sample Miracle on Broadway pages.
