I think Mile High Comics has raised the bar on what collectors will have to pay for the Miracle On Broadway comic. $400 in Fine condition? That would make a Mint copy a $1000 book!

I stand corrected. I estimated low.

It must be straight out of Chuck's collection. It's a cool thing to see since I own it, but I don't want to feed that hype any further.
I just feel sorry for those people who have the unimpressive Bloodshot test printing with the "Platinum" logo instead of Gold.
They just own a variant cover to story that has hundreds of thousands of copies printed. The MOB story itself is rare.

So how much is one of these "worth?"
I guess I mean how much would you pay if you didn't have one?

I'd pay $100 a copy for another one or two in nice shape. Some people consider me cheap, some think I'm not. My "buy" prices fluctuate based on how easy something is to get vs. how much I want it. Once you get above $100 for something like this, my priorities shift to Silver Age comics, Golden Age Comics, or original art. I'd overpay for a cool piece of original art before I'd buy this for $200. That's just how I'd prioritize things. There is no collectible that will distress me if I don't get it.

Hey, I just noticed that the *censored* 9.2 copy of Miracle on Broadway is no longer listed at Mile High. I wonder if he actually sold it or just decided to keep it? As much as I would badly like to own a copy of that book, paying over $1,000 just isn't happening for me!

wow. so reading the info if chuck only had 1 copy, (read artilce link), whose copy got the first three pages scanned on the MHC website? So it was 'the first digitally produced comic' and supossedly 'the most expensive comic ever made'? i thought that was the original run of "orign of the DU" or whatever was the one with the gloves?

Those all seem like silly claims. Easy to state, hard to prove.

I have a few copies of Miracle in mint condition. One with the original crayons that were included in the gift package. Is anyone still seeking copies?

I am interested if the price is reasonable. If possible, I would be interested in a scan of the crayons also. I do not have the crayons.

P.S. Although Bryan posted as a guest, his IP addess corroborates his claim. This offer should be treated seriously.

I'd be very interested as well. It's the only Broadway Comic I don't own. Please PM me or e-mail me at harbinger@vzavenue.net when you get the chance.
Thanks.

I have posted a copy on Ebay to anyone who is interested. I have been burned a few times before selling direct so I figured buyer and seller would be protected if I used this method. Reserve is SIGNIFICANTLY below Mile High's price.
