I'm pretty sure I had all of those books as a child, except for the Archie issues which I probably wasn't interested in. Do you recall how these were obtained? Some kind of bubblegum or something?

Yes, they were sold alongside candy and included Bubble Gum. The company also released miniature album covers. I have a bunch of miniature Elvis album covers as well as some sealed duplicates. I also have a Pat Benatar album cover. In most cases I bought these for the gum.

Some people are reporting their copies have a white back cover. Here are some more scans depicting the complete back cover... Here is a scan of the back cover folded open and the perforation pointed out with text. Today I discovered they fit in trading card sleeves. I like that! Q

Here are some 7-11 comics that are small. I know nothing about them since they were given to me... Defiant1

This Scooby-Doo promo comic is approximately 4" x 5.25". It was released to promote a video game. I found a rubber band bundle of these. Most of them probably have spine creases because of the way it was distributed. Scanned at 600dpi and then resized to 300dpi & 535 pixel height. defiant1

I know I was thinking 7-11 had some involvement with these when I seen them...Every cover looked familar. Then I scrolled down and seen the 7-11 versions. Even though the non-7-11 versions are not 7-11, they all look familar. I just dont remember too much about them. All I know is I remember them.
Those are SWEET!!! ;D
I would LOVE to have a set!

I could give you a Scooby-Doo, but I don't have extras on the rest. It appears a lot of people tore off the last flap on the Bubble funnies. be careful if you see a set on ebay.

Here is another one I got from my friend. I have no idea who produced it or where it came from. It has no staple or binding. Defiant1
