And I felt big time to own 3 of these. I can say I preordered my 1st one before it ever came out and got it the day it arrived and I still have it. But nothing compares to your collection man! Sweet stuff!

How many 3rd edition Plasm binders do you own Jim? Vikingspawn sent me one, but it's not in the original shrink wrap like I remember when I first saw the for sale at the Revco drug stores.

I don't really understand how Janet has gone about picking what she sells and when. These things are very sensitive to light. It's not something that should be displayed. They fade very easily. I got lucky finding one on ebay last year and it was from a former employee (or intern I think). I asked if they ever made a Dark Dominion Zero comic like Plasm 0 had but he said no.

As some of you know, Jim sadly put his much revered Defiant collection up for sale. I say sadly from my own vantage point, but when I went to see his collection a month or so ago he seemed at peace with his decision. That was the second time I'd gone to Jim's to see his collection. Both times Jim spent about an hour showing his collection to me in detail and conversing with me about what we were looking at. I ended up buying all of Jim's regular Defiant comic books from him. I haven't posted abuot it before, but I have a decent hoard of Defiant comics. I bought quantities of a lot of the later issues from Mile High a few years ago at a buck or so each. I was pleased with the condition the books from Mile High arrived in, and had a chance to add to my Defiant hoard by picking up Jim's issues. After I made my Mile High purchase, which was about two years ago, Mile High really raised their prices on those books, especially the later Plasm books. I believe sooner or later Defiant books will head up in value, particularly the lower printed stuff.

I gave Jim my friend Robert at Key Comics' phone number, as I believed there was a chance of them reaching a deal in the non-comic book part of Jim's collection. Jim and Robert knew each other from dealing they've had in the past. I need to check into whether they spoke and if a deal was indeed made.

I knew he took a lot of pride in it... as well he should. I hope he gets a fair value for it. Defiant1

He currently has a single DEFIANT tin being auctioned on eBay, which may be a sign he didn't sell his collection yet.

Did he fall on financial difficulties? Defiant1

He currently has a single DEFIANT tin being auctioned on eBay, which may be a sign he didn't sell his collection yet. I don't have an eBay account. I had to fork out a considerably large amount of money to help a friend last year and despite being paid back a respectable chunk, this year has been flat as far as my finances go. I'm not doing bad, but I'm not doing good either. I'm not in a situation where I'd want to bid on anything. I can't honestly say I could offer a fair market value on anything. Defiant1
