If anything with those newly attached creators, i'll bet the books would have at least 12 issue arcs each. And a crapload of variants. And a signature of the week comic variant specials at their Dynamic Forces store. Wait till comic completists get a load of that when those start happening. I'm kind of done crossing my fingers and hoping for Shooter on those characters again. I'm ready for his own creator owned books/universe/whatever to see his creative stuff out there and not be at the mercy of these licensee companies. If kickstarter ain't enough to help any of his comic launches...what is? Image Comics?

Bart Sears Turok 1 variant cover from this line. I don't like his art, but this piece is okay. A better question would be... who is the character in the shadows. Maybe that's what I'm supposed to be asking. Defiant1

I spent a lot of time today checking out what Dynamite has published. This line is in good hands, and I think there's a good chance these titles will go on for awhile. These are the only four new books I'll be picking up, and I'm thinking of adding a few other Dynamite titles to what I'm reading, and certain books they've put out like the Black Bat and The Spider I'm interested in going back and picking up. Their Green Hornet title looks interesting as well.

I keep seeing Dynamite entered into a licensing agreement with DreamWorks Classics. I wonder if that's a new company that owns the Gold Key characters, or a new name for Classic Media.

I used to like Bart Sears work in the old Justice League Europe comics. Seems different these days. I guess it depends on the inker. Dynamite had used to have some fun crossovers in it's time. I was looking forward to their Darkman ongoing but they never released it. It only went as far as solicitation covers but nothing else. I think alot of hollywood people read the Dynamite comics for ideas. Here's a sample one forum fan caught where a scene in the Robocop remake trailer looks like one of the panels from Dynamite's Bionic Man comic: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The scene where they show Murphy on the sick bed is very similar to the scene taken from the Bionic Man comic book."

Is that a 12 foot long bionic penis? KV

I found out DreamWorks Animation acquired Classic Media and now owns the Gold Key characters.

I'd rather see Neil DeGrasse Tyson write Doctor Solar.

I'd rather see Neil DeGrasse Tyson write Doctor Solar. Color commentary and plotting are two different things. Sci-fi shows often have writers that write out a plot and then the have people with more science knowledgeable go back and add the jargon like "tachyon scan". He seems very tolerant of people less knowledgeable than himself. At some point the quest for knowledge pulls you towards the people who know things you don't know and away from people who make stupid questions and comments. On the other hand, he seems to get very frustrated with people he thinks should know more than they do. Defiant1

Is Frank Barbiere from Brooklyn? KV Yes. I was reading his Twitter feed out of curiosity. His posts really wore thin on me. I get tired of creators who preach "talk nice about comics" even if you don't like anything being produced. How about I ignore them instead Frank so you don't even have an audience for your sermons? This attitude amongst industry professionals really sickens me. Defiant1
