One of the many reasons I got tired of my Broadway Comics site was all the traffic from a transgender web site that focuses on transgender representations in comics. I did not and do not wish to cater to that audience. People are free to think and do as they please. I do not wish to run a site catering to cross gender advocacy or endorsement.

I don't think hosting comic pages are any endorsement on your behalf of transgenderism. Your intent is still just to provide information on the comics, both published and unpublished. What someone chooses to do with that information is no reflection on you. |

While in principle I agree with you, the traffic flow from that site generated upwards of 85% of the traffic to my Broadway pages. After about a year of more seeing that trend, I decided that hosting transgender content for their visitors was not what I wanted to do. Just as I don't wish to be stereotyped as some expert on defunct universes, I also have no interest in being an expert in transgender comics. My interests and the contents of my collection go beyond that. If more creators had been forthcoming with unpublished content, that would have been the primary focus of my site and I feel it would have drowned out the transgender attraction that the Makeshift title has.

Wow! Cool pages Quato! Did "Makeshift" make it passed the 1st issue? (even though #1 was never released...) Funny that you should mention that. I'll be posting the art to #2 in the next week or so. Art was just being started for #3 when the company shut down. Q |
