I picked up these 2 issues with Broadway covers today: Still reading the article coverage and taking pics. There's a small box mentioning the "Makeshift" title was slated as a 6 issue mini-series.

I had a bunch of the CBG's. I know I have some with Defiant content, but they pissed me off so I probably quit buying it before Broadway came out. Defiant1

I used to use that magazine to do pre-orders back in the day. It was very cool. I think I still have issue #1000 and the Jack Kirby memorial issue from right after he died. I used to pick up the magazine a lot a few years ago, but I haven't in recent years. They always seemed to be a superior product compared to Wizard.

I like collecting these when they feature cover art from my favorite artists or when they have coverage like the 2 up issues there.
I read one of the issues and it has some lengthy coverage on Broadway. There was a mention how there were plans for Broadway to have a creator owned imprint which was probably where the Steve Ditko "Mr. A" character would have fit in.
