This #2 is sliced on the back cover. I'm hoping it isn't the one I intentionally bought as a back issue. I'm guessing not. Rampaging Hulk #2 (sliced b/c) Rampaging Hulk #3 Rampaging Hulk #4 Either way, these are all low grade. I think I got them in a bulk collection that I barely looked at ('cause I already had them).

Rampaging Hulk #2 I did find another one, but it's not in great shape either. I only paid a buck. Defiant1

ok, I'm going to challenge you, Defiant1, and do it here instead of over on the CGC board. On the CGC board in the Hulk magazine thread there, this was what you said: I know he (Norem) did a Power Man/Iron Fist cover. I'd seen his work for years, but the PM/IF cover is where I actually learned his name and remember it. Were you referring to either one of these covers?: These were the ones done in the style of Earl Norem, but after checking the Marvel Comics Database, they give the credit for #75 to Bob Larkin and #100 to Ernie Chan. Also, looking under the Database entry for Earl Norem as a cover artist, there are no issues of PM/IF listed. Really only looked into this because I like Norem's covers, and I remembered these two painted issues of PM/IF, so I wanted to look at them and see if I liked them. If there's one I missed, let me know.

I'm an old man now and I haven't looked at the cover I'm thinking about in 30 years. Let me investigate. Defiant1

You have rightfully called me out. It is NOT part of the regular run and I may have been mistaking the #75 painted cover with another painted cover than came out around the same time period. I used to think of the painted covers with the same fond appreciation, so my memories are crossed up because of that.
Let me investigate online what cover Norem did that caught my attention.
The later issues in that series had really nice art. I like the cover to #87 with Moon Knight. I quit buying the series before #100 came out.

Thanks for the correction! I edited my post there. I am going to be bothered by the fact I can't pinpoint the cover on my mind. Looked through Mikes Amazing World of Comics Time Machine. I found nothing that even looked familiar.
I may be thinking of Marvel Premiere #60 because of the colors.. but that doesn't make sense.

I don't know if this list: marvel.wikia.com/Category:Earl_Norem/Cover_Artist is 100% complete, but it looks like the majority of his work was on Marvel magazines. If it was a magazine, I think might be the most likely candidate: His actual comic work (as opposed to comic magazines) was surprisingly limited, Moon Knight #6, Marvel Premiere #60 (Dr. Who), Dragonslayer #1 (a comic sized version of the previously released magazine sized Marvel Comics Super Special #20) and that appears to be all of it. Everything else was a magazine or a graphic novel and the Fireside Surfer book.

Everything else was a magazine or a graphic novel and the Fireside Surfer book. I looked there and decided it's not complete. The comic I'm thinking of was darker shades. It was not a magazine. I avoided those like the plague back then because they were B&W. I was a snob for color comics only. I did buy Hulk magazine at-that-time because it was in color. My memories may be crossed. I might have been thinking of the shades on Dr. Who. I might've thought Norem did the PM/IF cover. I might be plucking from a mish-mash of 30 year old memories that I've abbreviated because they were useless for so long. Definitely not a magazine. I stared at Star Wars #50 for awhile, but that's not it either. Defiant1
