Any checklists for these? Are they any good? My LCS had runs of Deathmask (1-3), Freemind(1-7). Metalix (1-6) plus some signed variants (0's and 1's). Got them all for about 15 bucks - about 21 books. Are there any more titles?

I found this by searching around a bit, I remember talking about what Future put out a few months ago, but I think that thread is gone. Hopefully, this helps: valiant.port5.com/Creator_projects/Future_Comics/Future_Comics.htmlThere's also a Freemind trade paperback not listed on that page and also at least one or two Future Comics ashcans which I think are only available directly from Bob Layton.

I forgot I'd made that page. I planned on making a checklist. The unscanned comics are probably scattered in my collection. I don't have any ashcans. I have a couple of FC ashcan sized hand-collated catalogs. Defiant1

do they have any more of these titles ? I would be interested in getting a few of these. From what I can tell - this is it. Less than Broadway even ;D. It looks like Layton was trying to go back to the Valiant well - the look and feel of these are slightly reminiscent or early valiant. I mean that metallix guy even looks like a pastel XO on some angel dust . The variant covers came signed by the creators (Dick Giordano!!!). This set should be easy to get. My LCS guy said some people were excited about them - then they suddenly went kaput!!! Milehigh, in it's own inimitable way, is asking some ridiculous prices for variants but the rest probably can be snagged cheap on Ebay.

Got a reply from Bob Layton. Here are the other Future Comics stuff: Freemind Bound Volume I, Peacekeeper #1 color ashcan, Freemind #8 color ashcan and the Ron Lim promo poster. He will sell all for 3.00 each , shipping included. Seems like a cheap way to complete this set. I think I'll request that he sign the Ashcans...

I guess I'll be sending Bob a check for those items, as well

I'd take a set, but I'll spare Bob the moral dilemma of selling me anything Defiant1

I thought that at first, but I later decided that they were trying to bring back a Charlton feel. I think they wanted a simple Charlton storytelling style, on better quality paper. Defiant1

I'm not using the quote feature in replying in view of the iPad I'm on seemingly being unable to handle that function. In any event, that Charlton comment is interesting. I'd forgotten about Layton's history with Charlton.
