Reportedly this convention is cancelled for 2005. According to the web site one owner (Brian - Classic Comics) opted to pull out of the financing. Thay is odd because I've been infiomed that the other owner is closing his comic book store (Drakes).
Gossip is that there was a dispute between the partners.
Drakes lost some customers over a year ago after they moved their store. Premature rumors (partially started by them) went around that they were closing then.
This show last year was where I met J.G. Jones and I picked up 20+ pages of dogs of War art as well as photocopies of the unpublished DOW #6.
This was the largest "Comics Only" convention in Atlanta. Only Dragon Con (which is just partially comics) is larger.
