My God! Big Jim looks like an old boozer! He should hook up with Taddeo who is selling Tequila. Defiant1 No doubt! Maybe they could come up with a line of super-hero booze, like Armstong Ale or Darque Brew.... BTW, that reception looks like it was filled with money-people. I avoid those types like the plague when I can. Big Jim can smell the green...........

New York money is a much higher level than Atlanta money. Both in what things cost and what you can make. I think Larry Wohl is into real estate. $$$. I've said for years it's stupid to try to make your living selling Golden Age in Atlanta. Buy it here where the prices are cheap, fly to New York where they pay through the nose for everything and waste their money anyway. dp

Check the latest post on the VCS where JayJay announced they will be offering signed copies of "Seven" for Jim's legal fund. I wanted to ask if it's possible to include that special purple issue #2 preview too that was included in those launch party pics. I wonder if they're still available...or if the full issue #2 got printed yet.... *crossing fingers*

Gonna be cool to see the fans actually get this.

Care nothing about signatures. The only art piece I wanted signed was my Olivia because the model was available also. Wish I had the "Don't Change" T-Shirt I got signed by Michael Hutchence. How did I know he'd get as famous as he did?! I gave it to a girl because I couldn't get a Madness t-shirt I'd promised her. The band canceled their show. Defiant1

Full art cover to Seven issue #2 by Gene Gonzales!Gene has a cover process breakdown on an old blog entry from his site. He also mentions he penciled and inked issue #2 with Cynthia Martin as colorist on the interiors: genegonzales.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.htmlPreview copies of the issue look to have been inserted inside these rows of "Seven" copies from the launch party pics: genegonzales.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.htmlI asked Gene if he had any extra copies and he said he didn't have and wasn't sure if issue #2 even went to print. But then there's the preview copies in those party pics. He said he only had one issue #1 and he thought David Lapham was the artist on it too. lol I linked his site and pics to the VCS so maybe someone will try to find a box of these. Or at least a preview copies of #2. Or confirm if issue #2 even had a full print run at all.

Looking at the credits section on the comic again, J.C.Vaughn from the forums (and the Galactica/Realm Press books) is listed as "Production and Publishing Consultant" for the book too. Maybe he's got access to a stash of #2s.

I hope it doesn't get bedazzled with too many things just for the sake of upping it or add stamped logos on it. A simple plain copy is perfect as is too.

It's really confusing for me with some of the VCS posts on the "Seven" project. Whether he has some unsigned/plain copies or not. Or if he's willing to sell them or not really. Does he have unsigned copies now? (limited i'm predicting....) I wonder who Bob Wiak is. From the signature I almost thought it was "Wohl."

I checked the book and didn't notice his name anywhere. Just Shooter, "Creddick," Livesay and J.J. Jackson is listed as the "Seven" logo designer. I didn't find a credit for colorist though.

I consider him to be a famous inker and I knew he's worked with Shooter in the past. Wiacek and JayJay did the cover to the "Nobody Gets the Girl" book.... I own a "Uncorrected Proofs" copy of the Phobos book as well as a t-shirt & button. Defiant1

I guess the Wiacek signature is still a mystery unless he used the Creddick name.

Looks like Bob Wiacek drew the cover art to "Seven" #1 (mentioned in this old Newsarama "7" article) forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=115854------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shooter noted that constant Shooter collaborator Janet ‘J.J.’ Jackson will be aboard the project to color and Bob Wiacek is doing the cover. The artist on the book is reported to be Paul Creddick – a name known to just a few as an alias Jim Shooter would use from time to time. When asking Shooter about this and who the artist might really be he just says, “The artist couldn’t say his name because of an exclusive contract.” A look at promotional art might clue some reader in to the mystery artist and if he has worked with Shooter before. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

No. I really don't. There was a comic out called "SE7EN" when the article broke about the Wohl venture. DC had "Sovereign Seven" years back. Seven is a pretty common word. It was a risky title to use. I think the Wohl venture died with her divorce. Jim moved on to DH, so I think it's unlikely it will be revived. Defiant1
