Hi - does anyone have any info on any unpublished Unity 2000 beyond the last published issue (#3)? I'm trying to be a Jim Shooter completist (I just recently purchased a Battlestar Galactica comic (from '97 or '98?) at a LCS with a lead 8-page story by Jim for 50 cents! Needless to say, I am not a Battlestar Galactica fan, but Jim's story was cool.

You found the Battlestar Galactica issue?!? I'm jealous. Here's the plots for all the issues: www.valiantcomics.com/valiant/joe/u2kinfo.aspI've got pics of issue four's art in a massive zip file and the scripts for 4 and 5 (the script for 6 was never written). All the unpublished art used to be on the net but now it's been taken down . Does anyone have pics of 5 and 6? If you need anything I got just send me an email.

I should have all of 5 and 6 somewhere. I was missing some art for #4, but I think I snagged it a few months ago. I won't know until I consolidate data more. I've had about 4 hard drive crashes since I downloaded the files. All the files keep playing musical chairs. Defiant1

I would appreciate the scripts and the art to the unpublished stuff; I have nothing (that I know of) to trade, except if I ever see another copy of the Battlestar comic, it's yours. I also have a Defiant videotape (called something like "Inside the Tower" with plotting sessions between Adam Pollina and Jim, Al Weiss talking about War Dancer and the artist for Dark Dominion being given a walking tour of the sewers of NYC), and some other oddball stuff. Just recently picked up a WWF Valiant comics with art by Paul Creddick (sp?) who I hear is Jim Shooter under an alias. Speaking of aliases, I thought I read sometime ago at the Christopher Priest website that another alias of Jim's was "Ken Macdonald", used on an Iron Man annual guest starring a futuristic Iron Man. Anybody know anything about other Shooter aliases or if these are correct? If you want, send me your e-mail address and I'll let you know more and see if we can work something out. Thanks for the responses.

Eventually they'd be posted anyway in some form or another. Most of the members here have a copy of the "Inside the Tower" video on DVD. ...and Yes, Paul Creddick is Jim Shooter. He wrote the Unity 2K stories in the back of Shadowman #3 & #4. Defiant1

Another fun fact, using that alias Shooter drew the Magnus half of Magnus 5 (it was a flip book with Ria). He also did some work on the Valiant WWF comics under that alias. I think it's the name of his cousin or something like that.

Anybody know anything about other Shooter aliases or if these are correct? I did some further research about another Jim Shooter pseudonym - according to Jim Owsley/Christopher Priest, Shooter sometimes wrote under the name of Ken McDonald. Owsley mentions this when talking about Amazing Spider-Man Annual #20, featuring the Iron Man of 2020, not an Iron Man Annual as I mentioned before. Owsley says he ghost-wrote that issue using Shooter's Ken McDonald pen-name. The only time I can remember seeing the Ken McDonald credit, other than the above-mentioned comic, was an issue of one of the Shooter-era New Universe titles. Also, and I'm not real sure of this, but I believe that Shooter may have either written or plotted Web of Spider-Man #22, which is credit-less as published; I may have read that info while perusing the Priest website, but I can't find the item presently. In addition, I noticed the name Laura Hitchcock on some Valiant issues as a writer - was this a psuedonym? If so, who was it? Sorry for all this anal-credit research, but I just like to know these things.

Michael Netzer drew the Babylon 5 issues. I link to his site now in my General Comics section. He's an excellent artist that learned from Neal Adams and even worked at Continuity Graphics for Neal. I know very little of Priest's claims. Short of laughing at his nude photography links being mixed with links to his Christian messageboard, I don't really look at what he posts. Overall I'm not a fan of his work. Defiant1
