I found a misplaced copy of Thrillogy in my collection. Originally I think I was just going to keep the list up without scans. I added a scan for Thrillogy #1 tonight. I may add a few more before the night is through. Defiant1

I lived in San Diego for six months at the time Pacific was publishing and visited their offices. It was really a ground-breaking company. Back in the late seventies I visited the Schanes brothers back issue mail order warehouse and bought some stuff. At that time they were based in Oceanside. That business was called Pacific Comics long before they ever started publishing.

Added the scans above to the Pacific Comics checklist. That includes Alien Worlds #3-5. Not sure if Twisted Tales is Paciific. It's labeled as Eclipse. Which number is it?

Q Twisted Tales was first published by Pacific, 10 issues. Then Pacific went belly up. Eclipse picked up many of the Pacific books. The Twisted Tales with the Dave Stevens cover was put out by Eclipse. It was a one-shot, so I guess you could call it Vol. 2 #1 To make things more complicated there was a 3-D issue of Twisted Tales, as well. It was put out by Blackthorne.

I was aware of the transition, but I wasn't sure what covers were put out by Eclipse. I also knew Blackthorne put out a lot of 3-D comics, but I didn't know they'd done a Twisted Tales issue. This all came out after I quit collecting. Q

Found another Pacific comic in the stuff I own. It was actually with some stuff I was going to sell, but since it's a book that's not in my collection, I guess I'll keep it. The condition is a little rough... Fine maybe... The scan has been added to my checklist... Paciific Comics Checklist pacificchecklist.50webs.com/Pacific_Index.htmlQ

I have that one, mine is in rough shape, as well, so it's probably in one of my junk boxes.

I have that one, mine is in rough shape, as well, so it's probably in one of my junk boxes. My friend bought a 70's collection, cherry picked it and then sold the bulk of it to me for $5 a long box. In the collection were a lot of things I wasn't collecting, plus they weren't high grade. Even though I've made my money back 5 or 6 times over selling the Marvel stuff, it's a purchase I regret greatly because it increased the volume of stuff I want gone. Q

It does look interesting. Pacific was one of the major pioneers in comic publishing, no doubt about it.

I'm pretty sure Ghita was not published by Pacific. Ghita was an adult comic by Frank Thorne. I believe it was originally published in various magazines. As far as a comic book release, this is the first edition I recall, circa the early 80's: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260096038617It was a collected graphic novel, but not by Pacific. www.stuartngbooks.com/monographs_ttt.htmlAs I continue to search through this site I've discovered a Ghita #1 & 2. The Schane brothers did publish Ghita under the Blue Dolphin imprint. Blue Dolphin and Pacific are both the same owners. Essentially the same company. I'm assuming the Ghita books sold on the link above are original European comics and not the Blue Dolphin product. defiant1

The ones pictured are not the Blue Dolphin ones, they were published by Catalan, which is a New York company according to that page.

Pacific Comics html framework in place.... (link removed)defiant1 The above site is offline indefinitely. My EC site is growing so fast that I had to bump the mirror site for my pacific checklist. The Pacific checklist can be found here. pacificchecklist.50webs.com/Pacific_Index.htmlDefiant1

I'm pretty sure there's nothing overly hard to find, and the most expensive books are probably the Groo issues. Groo rules! ;D

I like his work, but that's a tough video to sit through. I don't think I could watch it twice. Unfortunately I sold my groo #1's when the price was high. I may not have any now.

Here is a signed Rocketeer print I bought at some point in this past decade. Obviously, it was before Dave Stevens passed away. Defiant1
