Added Judo Master #93 Defiant1 Judo Masters are something I actively want to try and go after. I actually had a Modern Comic reprint of this when I was a kid. I've been leaving this title in the background as I focused on my main favorites from the hero side of Charlton like Blue Beetle and Captain Atom and stuff like that. Now its getting to where I need to add some Judo Master to the collection. Seeing these covers makes it look like it will be nice additions! |

I'll be honest, I feel the Judo Master is one of the goofier looing titles. I remember Karate and Judo being really popular in the 70's, but I think if I was a villain, the amount of dread it'd instill would be at zero. The costume would make me laugh. I like that cover. It has a lot of classic elements, and the art is ECish (Williamson). Plus I get a kick out of the bottm teaser "..Also The Repusive Dwarf..." ;D

I like the EC look top it also. Certain series are boring to chase down for scans online, while others make it interesting. I try to sift through as many boring ones as possible to get them over and done with, but occasionally one like this just jumps out an I have to post it next.
