Holy cow! That's an amazing collection! I'm totally slacking. I still don't have a Dark Dominion #0 binder (there's always something missing from the binder when I check ebay ever so often). What was the 16-page comic mentioned in the October 1994 letter? Thanks for sharing. The comic that was associated with the Dark Dominion binder never got published. I had located an email address online that I thought was for Art Holcomb. He never responded to my email, but he did show up as a guest poster on the board shortly afterwards. He told us he had the script for the comic and that he'd look for it. He left and never returned. I've been told that a lot of the Defiant data was stored in file formats that are now obsolete. I don't know if that's the case with some of this stuff, but I used to be pretty good at extracting data, converting it, or finding a way to make it viewable again. I must assume that the creators just don't care anymore. Defiant1

This thread has made me feel good that I actually own ONE unopened tin. I got it about 7 or 8 years ago when a Local Comic Shop went out of business and was blowing stuff like this out. I wish I had gotten more to be honest but I was raiding it of so many comics that this was just a small piece of the raid. However, now that I've seen this, I wonder if I should actually open it up or leave it unopened and shrinkwrapped? Curiosity has me wanting to see what is inside but if it would hurt the value I'd be just as well off to leave it as it is. Any thoughts?

Nice visuals. Thanks man! I'd go ahead and open it but being its the only one I have part of me wants to leave it wrapped. If I had more than one I'd have one of them open. I see you have a Premium Edition tin which has about 1/5 the number of sets. What's the biggest difference between the two?

the premium ed. has thicker cards, a cassette, some extra limited cards, and every card at the bottom where it reads Plasm is foil stamped.

Defiant1 I have a letter from The River Group, stating that they can't send the comic because "Defiant doesn't care enough about their fans to publish one".

i think you are refuring to this letter Yes indeed! I wonder how long "The River Group" stayed in business after Defiant closed. Nice of them to badmouth Defiant and Shooter.

Not really sure, but Jim Shooter was sued. Back when VEI was suing Jim, I searched their court site and found a record of a lawsuit relating to Jim Shooter & Dan Sheddrick.

Not the greatest color pages, I somewhat liked the one with War Dancer, but the other two were nothing special, IMO.
