Neal Adams just rocks as an artist IMO... it would have been GREAT to see even more of his talent in the Defiant world.
My limited complaints about the Defiant universe was only in the 'pencils' department.

Is that your Neal Adams' piece Defiant1? I'm not sure what you are asking. Neal Adams drew a Lorca. The sheet above appears to be an ad slick that the River Group and/or DEFIANT released. I own a copy of the sheet. I'm not sure if I ever got around to posting it. The ad slick above was posted by CorvetteJim and that's just a copy he made. In that specific piece, Lorca is just a B&W copy. Janet had also hand colored a copy of the piece. I own the original of the hand colored piece. The paper and possibly the image is larger than even my largest color art cover. The paper was also very thin and it was wrapped around a larger more stiff piece of oversized comic art paper. It is just too large for me to scan without the risk of damaging it. So... Yes, I own a copy of the ad slick above. Yes I own an original watercolored "color art" version of the Neal Adams image above... but no, the ad slick in the message above is not "my" specific piece. Thousands of the ad slick exist and were distributed to retailers. A lot of retailers probably threw the ad slicks away. I picked up the color art piece at the same time I purchased the "only" color art page ever done for the Schism project. I also picked up a color art pinup of P&C at the same time. Janet had offerred them for sale here on the messageboard. Defiant1

Yes, I was talking about the art, not the actual promo piece.

Yes, I was talking about the art, not the actual promo piece. This was Janet's post. defiant1.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=BuySell&action=display&thread=1096507045She also posted it on a Valiant board that gets a lot more traffic. She posted it right as I was getting offline so other people had about 6 to 12 hours to beat me to it. The Super Mario piece was claimed BEFORE the Lorca piece. Nothing agianst Mario because I offered to buy that too, but c'mon... Neal Adams art colored by Janet! What were the others thinking?! Defiant1
