Here is a repost of something I posted elsewhere... It is generally believed that Steve Ditko has remained silent on the issue of "Who created Spider-Man". The fact is... he hasn't. In 2002, Steve Ditko and Robin Snyder published some of Steve's work in an oversized softcover book titled "Avenging World". In this book Steve has written a some text articles where he specifically addresses the issue and makes a rebuttal to some of Stan Lee's published statements. Steve goes so far as to say he was instrumental in making changes to the second (revised?) incarnation of the Hulk with Stan. He says that is the Hulk that went on to success. Anyone who is a fan of Steve Ditko should definitely pick this up. It's quite thought provoking whether you agree with the man or not. Q

I believe that the title is actually the character you see... the world with a face. This is also a collection of reprinted work. The text pieces were probably included to provide new content and up the page count. Q
