I was reading an ad in Good Guys #2 from Mile High. One of the books offered was described as Diamond Previews June 1993, Featuring the Warriors of Plasm #0, scarce promotional edition. Any chance that this was a solicitation for a stand alone version of this book, or did Mile High just remove them from the Previews themselves?

i would guess they removed them by themselves, i removed mine back in the day, and had jim sign my 'ripped out of previews' Plasm#0. Funny huh? If they actually had a stand alone version of plasm#0 printed it would have made it into the aftermarket by now, or maybe MHC just has a stack of them that they somehow think is just garbage. i dont know ill look at their web site see what they have.

Delamorte has a wrap around cover. It is a stand-alone copy that did not get pulled from Previews. It could have been a test printing that was used for proofreading. A lot of people did pull them out of Previews and some people did some very good trimming and dressing up of the spine. This thread is about a stand-alone issue. Defiant1

WARRIORS of PLASM #0 this is what the seller had to say about the stand alone plasm 0
One of my good friends was an intern at Defiant during 1993 (he got me an audition there as a colorist which I did terribly at!). This was Jim Shooter's follow up to Valiant. There were a few VERY rare variants that came out of that office that have never been on eBay before. I've had them in my collection for last 15 years and I'm going to try them once and then they'll go away for another 10 years. I've seen much talk on message boards discussing the various differences on these items and it's all mostly untrue. Please feel free to email me with any questions
There has been some confusion on this #0 issue that were mostly bound into Previews. There have been several copies (the single staple version) that have surfaced on the market-these are all either fakes and a few were given out by Jim Shooter to retailers in 1993 This is the truly rare untrimmed version. Measures 6 15/16" x 10 9/16". Perforation from printing is unbroken and color code is visable. There are around 25-50 untrimmed and non-bound copies of this book, all copies were taken by employees and this will be the only copy you'll see until they let go of their copies

I read this on ebay. The sentences are so poorly constructed it's incoherent. I've discussed it on other messageboards and don't have much to say. If the guy could write sentences a little better it might inform people rather that talk in circles.

It is a trading card set that fills a binder to make a comic book. Unfortunately the card set is very common. There is no high demand and it's not worth a whole lot. If it's a second edition it's worth even less. If you were lucky enough to get a third edition, there might be a demand for that. 1st Edition Binder 2nd Edition Binder 3rd Edition Binder

I was able to find a Plasm #0 with the staple on the spine: According to the seller, this one was given out during an early '90s conference and someone from the Defiant presentation tables had the tops of the comic cut at the conference. Don't know why they would cut off the tops on them unless they were factory bound at the tops. ( ) The comic looks great except it looks rough on the black border on top of the comic here. They kinda used a dull scissors when they did it with this one! grrrrr.... Trying to figure out how to smooth out the top so it displays good. ;D

I've seen so many doctored ones from Previews, I'd never buy one unless it was in my hands and I could see it was the real thing. I know what to look for now, but I don't think many ever made it this far south.
