I know there are other threads and such about this here...but I don't care. I'm starting my own thread.
I just wanted to tell Dave thank you oh so very much. Everything that was put into this DVD, sending it out to true fans, and doing it all basically out of the kindness of your heart...I applaud you.
I got my DVD the other day and finally sat down to watch it yesterday afternoon. I won't comment on it because I'd basically rip off what everyone else said....but on the whole it was an amazing look at what went into these comics. Plus Adam Pollina's hat ROCKED.
It is truly a great fan experience and we all wouldn't have it with out you, Dave. So I want to say thank you...thank you so very much for taking the time out and doing it. Don't even think of saying "Whatever, it was nothing." because it wasn't nothing. You've always claimed to just be a hands-down nitty-gritty fan of the genre and you never back down from the claim.
So thank you again...now I'm off for coffee.

That's a pretty accurate description and you used your own words. I'm officially stranded. I fell asleep last night and woke up to a glaze of white ice on everything. We rarely get that puffy white stuff called snow. We've been getting sleet and freezing rain. I'd say there must be a temperature inversion * going on. Coffee or any food that someone else makes sounds good right now. Defiant1 * A temperature inversion is a warm layer of air sitting above a cold layer of air.

yeah you rule for sure..if you are ever in Colorado..lets party Grateful Dead style!!! I don't think soooooooo. I'd have a pounding headache if I was to party like that. A certain herb even being in the air has that effect on me. I have no interest in being mellow. The only way to make me mellow is to give me a problem like solving world peace. If you go back to my rebellious days you might have caught me hanging out with the party crowd until wee hours in the morning and not noticing that I was up two days in a row. The party life is in my past. I've moved on. I can't say that I'm boring, but I try to be. It's rare that I even drink. Defiant1
