Hi Guys, I found a copy of The River Group's "Whacked" last week in a .19 bargain bin. I know milehigh has it at a resonable price, but I never thought I'd come across it in person. I flipped through it, pretty wierd. Looks like stuff you'd see in Mad magazine. DAN

I bought all of my copies from the spinner racks at the grocery stores and drug stores. I never saw it in the comic shops. Defiant1

My God David... you just brought on an incredible sense of melancholy for me tonight.
I got my first set of comic books from a drug store that my grandparents went to on a weekly basis. I was going to my Uncle's house for the summer and he took me there to get get about $4.00 worth of books (at $.25 cents a piece, that was quite a few for a little guy) and THAT is what got me started into comics. Man, those were good times back then and I had forgotten that until I read this post. Thanks for making me think of that again.
My first comic was The Amazing Spider-Man #158, if anyone has an extra copy of this... please let me know, I would love to have this book again and will cut a deal/buy it, if you are willing to part with it.
