Interesting Quote from Jim Shooter

There is a little editorial that mentions Jim Shooter on the Committed Comics Web site. In that editorial is this quote:

"Jim Shooter also told Alex and I to be careful about anyone offering money to back the company. He said that each time some one gave him money to help his comic book company in less then a year they wanted some controlling say in the company."

I find this quote amusing because I said the same thing on this board two years ago. Greg Boone disagreed.

Yeah, their aren't too many different motivations for offering to "back" a company unfortunately...
