Agreed. People talk about wanting to thin out their collection all the time but it's rare you hear that they actually do it. I always felt like if I died, my wife who also collected because I influenced her would sell. But I have to admit, she probably has no idea about the significance to almost any of it. It's probably best to get rid of them yourself.

It's probably best to get rid of them yourself. Yeah. A comic book dealer would screw anyone out of the value. I thought about using my label maker to label all the rarities and such but there's no one really in my family who'd want the stuff. I want to leave the girl I date my valuable stuff. She at least appreciates collectibles in general. I'd feel sorry for anyone tasked with getting the value out of the rest. Defiant1
