A repost of a thread I made elsewhere:
I'm a fan of EC comics. I thought this page was interesting.

Some comments I have.
I do not consider "Skippy's own Book of Comics" to be an EC comic. It predates EC, much in the same way that All-American predates EC. If you are a collector of Max & Williams Gaines products, by all mean factor it into your collecting goals.
Narrative Illustration is definitely EC related in my opinion. It is a reprint of a Max Gaines article from Print Magazine which was evidently sent to libraries. This ~may~ have a bound in comic. This is on my want list. It's pretty rare. I have a box set of Print magazines which includes two issues that have articles by Max Gaines. One has a Picture Stories from the Bible comic bound inside.
I picked up a low grade copy of Animal Fables #1 this past year. I've had my eye on a copy of Land of the Lost #1. It's nice to see both show up on the list.
Moon Girl is EC's only superhero. She's supposedly a knock-off of Wonder Woman. I consider these to be in high demand. I've never seen any affordable copies in the minimum (low) grade I'd accept.
The giveaway/promotional comics are a nice subset collecting goal, but they are rare.
The early crime comics are definitely desirable. Modern Love is another hard to find series.
Everything pre-1950 on this list seems to trigger off of rarity and demand.
Gaines File copies exist on much of the later stuff. I like all of it. The only thing I'm not interested in collecting is Mad. I think I'd rather have a set of Panic over Mad.
