Going through and sorting my comics is still a priority for me even if I've shut down my Broadway & Defiant pages. Here are comics from another company I had planned on exploring... Catfish Comics -Images removed 8/1/05, replaced with a link- catfish-comics.net63.net/Sinnamon/Sinnamon.htmlDefiant1

So, do what exactly do you mean by "exploring"?
BTW, looks like you've seen more of those Avatar books than the Medora creative team! The Avatar experience was enough to send Alvero Fracassi scurrying back to his native Austria! ;D

Now that I think about it, if you come by to check out this thread, click on this URL: www.nyxcomics.com/catfish_comics/preview.htmlJust don't expect all the other linbks to be in working order just yet. Heck, that's not even the real cover.

BTW, The Catfish Comics web site has the honor of being the first web site I ever visited on the web. I most likely still have printouts from back then. Imagine the wonder of a newbie seeing the web for the first time.... driving the computer owner crazy by using up all their printer ink. That seems so very long ago. Defiant1

Heck, that's not even the real cover. The art is lighter... more cartoon-like. It will take time to get used to it. Some of the outlines of the characters are very true to Michael's work. This is closer to the original than Nick's work. I'd like to have seen Pia do a feature story rather than a back-up. It would have been interesting. The Gazette Gal was an interesting feature. Very interesting. I may need to go look at that again to make sure I didn't miss any subtleties of the female form. Defiant1

Defiant1,
I noticed you don't have a scan of the cover of Sinnamon #11. Do you not have that issue or did you just not get a scan of it up? I just picked up a copy of that issue for .50 cents, so if you need it, I'd be more than happy to send it to you.

I just picked up a copy of that issue for .50 cents, so if you need it, I'd be more than happy to send it to you. I have all the issues and I should have extra on MOST of the variants. The only exception is maybe Avatar and variants on a few weird titles like Bikini Assassin Team (done by Nyx Comics under a Catfish imprint). B.A.T. may not even have a variant, but I saw an ad for one. My comics are just not in order. I'm scanning as I consolidate. I haven't seen #11 in awhile, but I'm sure I have it. Keep in mind I even have both Black Foil versions of #9. One of them was never solicited. The other was S/N'd and limited to 75 copies. If Bruiser #2 from Anthem Comics exists... then I need that. Anthem Comics predates Catfish. I'd buy any Avatar issues I'm missing, but I have no list yet Defiant1

A lot of these would be much rarer than your rarest (regularly produced) Valiant comic. Although I do have extra, I'm not really wanting to sell any duplicates yet. That will probably change as I find them all and see what I have.

B.A.T. may not even have a variant, but I saw an ad for one. Defiant1 It finally dawned on me that there was a B.A.T. variant. It was a black and white photo of one of the models wearing little more than a smile ... ... and some very flimsy material. Yes, I was there for the photo shoot, but all males in the area were asked to vacate the area until that particular shot was taken. That explains why I didn't recall that beast until now.

I'd like to have seen Pia do a feature story rather than a back-up. It would have been interesting. Defiant1 At the time, Pia's schedule was tight enough that she was hard-pressed to get four pages done on time. I'm glad she's finally getting a taste of success with "Y: The Last Man".

Pull some strings and find me that Seriously, I want to collect everything and I'm missing that one. Does Bruiser #2 from Anthem exist? comicspriceguide.com says it does. Defiant1

Defiant1 I think I know where to pull, since I'm still in contact with the B.A.T. creator. He should have a few copies lying around. As for Bruiser #2 (full color book), it definitely saw print. It's funny because even the publisher doesn't remember the book. However, he and I (and M. Gerald Delaney) went to the printing house and checked the proofs. I must have a few copies somewhere, but I've yet to find them. Talk about a rare bird!

It'll be scanned and added to a checklist eventually. I assume it did not fit into the Sinnamon Universe of characters, or did it? I always think of BAT & Fangs of The Cobra as being separate and Medora as being part of. It's been so long since I read them that the story details elude me. Defiant1

Added a scan of Medora #1. I need to recrop the master file to remove the white line down the side. That will be for a later day. You can see it again... Here it is if you are too lazy to scroll up -Image removed 8/1/05, visit the link- catfish-comics.net63.net/Medora/Medora.html

As for Medora ... that's a very good question. There was a crossover scripted that never saw print. That's probably a good thing since it would have played havoc with continuity. Now that I think about it, can we really call it a "Sinnamon Universe"? Bruiser did come first, but I'm not about to call it the Bruiserverse. Maybe we can label it the "Catfish Cosmos"?

Maybe we can label it the "Catfish Cosmos"? Hmm! I never replied to this. I guess I was plotting out how to make those web pages for the Catfish Cosmos. catfish-comics.net63.netThe site is still being worked on... Defiant1

Tweaked a few listings on the main page. catfish-comics.net63.net/Sinnamon/Sinnamon.htmlRenamed the error copies of #9 to make that more clear. Fixed the logo and title on the Threshold Comics Page. I am accepting donations of scan on any Threshold covers I am missing or any covers which are blurry. Added links to www.comicspriceguide.com, but in all honesty, they are not really accurate on everything. They have some scans misnamed. They don't have Lobster Comixxx or Mythic even listed in the guide at all. Bikini Assassin Team is listed under the wrong publisher. Variants are missing. My site is a much more thorough checklist.
