You want more? Well, I guess we can wait and see if Mike draws anything in his Christmas card for 2006. If you want more information ... seeing how this is THE Catfish Forum, what better place to spill a few details? Namely, that is our heroine in her new costume and the fellow she's attacking is a retooled King Solomon. If you're a Bruiser fan, you'll recognize the name. If not, don't worry, we'll fill in the blanks.

I figured I'd give this Christmas thread a bump to the top for 2007. Merry Christmas!

Still 17 more shopping days left... The best and most pleasing decision I ever made was.. 1) No gift exchanges at Christmas. The second best.. 2) Save my vacation for the last half of December. By doing these two things, It lifts a lot of stress off of myself. 1) No showing favorites with loved ones. The people know they are getting nothing and the know they aren't getting me anything. There is no "Why did you give them something fun and I just got got socks." 2) No wasted money on unwanted gifts. 3) No stress from Atlanta traffic. Holiday traffic here is worse than ever, especially for those short trips which should be quick. By not exchanging gifts, I get to miss the misery of traffic. 4) No misery of standing in lines at the mall. It can be hours of lost time. I may come back and add more later. It's surreal to sit back and listen to other people gripe about Christmas... "I have to go to the mall", "I had to sit in traffic two hours". It's surreal because it's all self induced frustration. By simply boycotting the practices, the holiday is far more relaxing and you can get back to the Christian Roots of what the holiday is about. After all, the Christmas Tree is criticized in the Bible... Jeremiah 10:2-4 (King James Version) 2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
