Pia has a page on MySpace? Well, who doesn't. Wonder if she remembers her Sinnamon pages.

The entire time I was corresponding with her, Pia lived in Vancouver and then Seattle, both of which are far away from Toronto. Ironically, while she was growing up in Toronto (she did a lot of moving), Pia lived about a 5 minute drive away from me. Since there is a 13 year difference in our ages, it's a good thing our paths didn't cross.

I am completely invisible. Nobody knows what I look like.
Look at my Avatar. That's me on the right. I'm feeding an alligator marshmallows. Not one of the brighter moments in my life. I've tried to accuse my parents of neglecting their parental duties, but they refuse to accept the blame. I did run ahead and find the alligator on my own.
I just remembered. I bought a Monsters on the Prowl #18 that day.

That photo is so tiny, I would never have noticed the 'gator. Is it the angle, or is the 'gator actually closer to your sister? Who took the photo? Didn't the shooter think it might have been a better idea to get the kids the hell away from the alligator first? Or are Georgia gators relatively tame, especially with a mouthful of marshmallows? The idea of a gator munching marshmallows is quite bizarre - did it actually eat any? Many years ago, I gave my kitten some caramel. He had a heck of a time trying to chew the stuff.

This is somewhere near the Florida/Georgia line. Depluto might know if he was still posting. I think the place is named after Sidney Lanier or something. Our family was on vacation. We were walking around this tourist place that had campgrounds and a lake. A road crossed a stream and the stream was crystal clear with large turltles swimming in it. Alligators were scattered all over the place mingling with the tourists. I had run ahead with my sisters and saw this alligator in the water off the side of the road. I had some marshmallows so I threw one at it to feed it. He ate one, but wasn't too excited about it. My parents didn't realize how close we were to it. I was originally closer to it, but my parents yelled for us to get away. We insisted on a picture. My sister doesn't listen to anyone so she just plopped down for the picture. I was poised to jump back if necessary, but I didn't really know how fast they can be. My sister was even more oblivious to the risk than I was. A few seconds earlier I had been right in front of the alligator. I at least listen and knew it would get my sister before me. I remember us discussing how fast it could move if it had been hungry. As stupid as this looks, the park was filled with people and dozens of people were swimming in the lake with the alligators. Everybody was perfectly content and we heard a bunch of people saying "The alligators are tame." Even at my age I knew that didn't make any sense. The alligators in this park generally didn't mess with people. Years later there was a draught and "wild" alligators from upstream came downstream for food. A girl was killed by one in the lake. It was in the newspaper. Defiant1

WOW! I just seen this for the 1st time. Although I do not live where alligators roam, I dont think I could find myself that close to one even if I did. BTW, I had no idea what was in that pic until you explained it. I agree, too small. But after looking hard, I can see whats going on. Why dont you blow that up and also show a more recent pic of the Q? That way if I ever see you at a major convention, I can avoid you. ;D <j/k>

Since I've dealt with stalkers online, you won't see me volunteering pictures of myself. Defiant1

I know, I was more kidding than serious. And I didnt think you would anyway. But I thought I would give it a shot. Ive talked to you so much over the last couple of years, I wonder a bit what you look like (in a non-Doogie way). I remember when I posted my pic a few times over at other boards. People were commenting "you look nothing like I had imagined".
Thats all.
