What was your favorite Defiant title? Mine was (as you can tell by my name) "Dark Dominion" starring Glimmer! "Warriors of Plasm" was a close second

Thanks for the warm welcome "Corvette". Back in the early 90's I owned a comic book store. I've got every "comic" Defiant published, including a signed "Warriors of Plasm" #1

WOW, that's some collection!!! I don't have anything near that amount of Defiant stuff. I do have a total of 18 comic boxes full, so my collection is large compared to many. It's a shame Defiant didn't work out I thought it had great potential.

"Warriors of Plasm" was a close second As far as the way the titles were executed goes: Dogs of War. With Plasm, Charlemagne, and Good Guys coming in second or third. But as far as just the concepts go, Dark Dominion was my fav.

What was your favorite Defiant title? Mine was (as you can tell by my name) "Dark Dominion" starring Glimmer! "Warriors of Plasm" was a close second As far as the way the titles were executed goes: Dogs of War. With Plasm, Charlemagne, and Good Guys coming in second or third. But as far as just the concepts go, Dark Dominion was my fav. When I originally read Dark Dominion, I remember the series getting very compelling around issue #6. Prior to that there was a long span of establishing the character and the world and it had become a tad bit too remedial for me. When I reread the series a couple of years ago, I got pretty much the same impression, but I was very exciting when I opened #10 and all the demons take on an Aztec appearance. It added a little depth and exta possibilities to what we'd seen prior. I don't live in New York. I don't think about New York. I've never been to New York. I have no desire to go to New York. For the most part I don't care about New York. For me, keeping the focus on the problem in New York or the uneasiness in walking down a street didn't fascinate me. There are easier ways to confront that than jumping into the substratum. The easiest way is to just move to another city. The stories that didn't focus on New York were just more interesting to me. The stories that focused on the fears of a child or demons that appear in the artwork of the Aztrecs, that just broadens the scope of the isssue. By no means do I think they should have avoided stories about New York. I just think the stories were just too hung up on the city until issue #6. Defiant1
