For a temporary time period, I am testing the embedded checklist. Comments or complaints welcome. Is the embedded checklist below annoying?

No, I feel it's very convenient. Quick access to the checklist when one is looking at the publisher's thread. Good stuff!

No, I feel it's very convenient. Quick access to the checklist when one is looking at the publisher's thread. Good stuff! The problem for me is that you have to scroll all the way upward to the top of the IFRAME to see a cover if you click on the number. I can possibly solve that by writing an HTML page for every cover. I didn't want to do that because I normally consume all of the free server space with images. I haven't converted over yet but I'm experimenting with my NOW comics checklist to have photobucket host all the cover images. The NOW Comics' scans are some of the largest I use. If that goes well, you may see me integrating this checklists into the discussion pages. You may see me expand my content also. The biggest frustration with using a free host are the bandwidth limitations and the space allocation. As I've said all along though, my goal is to get the info out there for free. My goal is that I never ask a collector for even a dime to show them information that I deemed worthy enough to display. defiant1

You know, I didnt actually know that was down there until I just accidently scrolled down. I feel it is very cool. Like brotherj said, very convenient when you are on the actual thread itself. I also love the 3 scanned covers at the top of the checklist too. If they could be in there like every 1/4 of the list, that would be even cooler in my opinion.

I want a few graphics, but I want to conserve bandwidth. For now I'm just using the scans as bookends. I want people to be able to export the table into a word document oir eqiuvaent without having graphics in the middle. I was looking at the code which qrnd used to display his Nintendo art at his old site. I may eventually inject some dhtml into the page, but for now my updates are close to over.
