A mule tin (even though it does not have any cards, the tin is probably the best I have seen in years) This would be probably be very rare. A collector in Germany claims to own one. Defiant1

I also have two of the Mule tins in the original mailer-boxes I received them in. I might part with one for the right trade.
I also have a framed litho from Dark Dominion, which were quite pricey when they were first offered.
The GOOD GUYS #1.5 was a serialized story which ran a couple of pages each for 12 consecutive issues of Previews during 1994/95. It was never reprinted, although there was a plan to, but was cancelled.---Steve

Of the Defiant stuff, I don't know what I'm missing other than a super premium tin with the comic cassette. I know I have at least one Genesis without the comicfest logo. And I'm not sure if I have one with the comicfest logo AND the Dark Dominion insert. I have to check. On Broadway, I need the "Inherit" TPB & HC, plus the elusive "Miracle".---Steve

I have an extra Inherit TPB but I like it better than the Defiant stuff. That'd be tough for me to part with. I almost sold it once and regretted the choice. I had given up on the HC version and the Miracle on Broadway. Keep in mind that Mile High Comics lists Miracle on Broadway as a $400 book in fine. That would make it a $1000 book in NM at least. As difficult as it was to get, I won't say I'd ever pay that, but I can imagine someone might. I don't guess you need any Valiant? Your stuff is cool, the problem is that it isn't anything that's going to make me feel all glowing inside if I own it. It'll be like the unpublished Makshift art. I'm proud to own it, but nobody knows what it is or cares. Hmmm! I still own that d**n original art to Shadowman Vol 3. Defiant1

$1,000 for "Miracle"---I had no idea! What type of demand supports this inflated price? Shooter fans? Or just "Mile High" prices? It's easy to say something is worth alot when you never have it in stock. $400 in Fine? I don't think so... How many of the "Inherit" TPB's & HC's were made? Also, what Shadowman Vol. 3 art do you own? I also forgot that I need a 3rd Edition Plasm binder. Did you find these repackaged in a Revco drug store? How did that come about? Probably some 'blow-out' decision made by a suit working for Western Publishing to clear out warehouse space... ---Steve

It's easy to say something is worth alot when you never have it in stock. $400 in Fine? I don't think so... I think the price is not inconceivable. Most of the creators got only one. A few might have got two. Some got none. There were approx. 1100 copies printed and distributed as a Christmas card to Broadway Video's clients-- non comic book collectors who would have probably thrown it away, let it get damaged, or tucked it away in a closet to be lost for decades. It had a coloring section inside, so it's possible that their kids destroyed it. I haven't met one retailer that even knew it existed. Chuck Rozanski did own one. One collector got his only copy from Jim Shooter. According to Ryan McLelland, the artist doesn't even have a copy. I had resigned myself to the fact i would not be pursuing it further when a previous effort to buy it panned out. I paid three digits, but it was part of a combined purchase. How many of the "Inherit" TPB's & HC's were made? I think(?) the HC was limited to 500 copies. It was solicited as signed. Obviously 501 must exist because my copy is not signed. I do not have numbers on the softcover. I think it's a safe bet that there are less than 10,000. I would bet there are only a few thousand. This book was actually printed by Golden Books, the new owners at the time. Also, what Shadowman Vol. 3 art do you own? Scattered pages. Clean stuff, no whiteout or missing panels. I'm just not a fan of the book. I bought it for the purpose of trading or selling. The seller was local and wanted whatever he could get. I can get you a list. Dan has similar pages I think. His prices went up.... I think. I thought about raising my prices but I have no interest in keeping it. I also forgot that I need a 3rd Edition Plasm binder. Did you find these repackaged in a Revco drug store? How did that come about? Probably some 'blow-out' decision made by a suit working for Western Publishing to clear out warehouse space... ---Steve I suspect it was The River group trying to make money any way possible. They had used up the direct market and they were trying to go to the general public. It failed miserably. I don't own a third edition binder. I was the first to let people know a third edition existed. I had held it in my hands back in late 94... maybe July or August?? This was released while Defiant was still in business. Defiant went out of business around the time the Revco stores were packing it up to send their overstock back. Defiant1

Miracle is an extremely rare book. To think of how many were destroyed or will never enter the market due to creator ties is pretty wild. I mean Chuck Rozanski only had one and he was buddy buddy with Jim, if I remember correctly. I can only think of four or five that have surfaced. Even if there are more out there, it's gonna be tough finding them.

Gives me something to shoot for.... Those of us who REALLY want one, REALLY want one. Those who don't could completely care less. It makes for a good set-up for someone to get a GREAT deal on one of these under the right circumstances...---Steve

I don't know of anyone willing to sell theirs. My copy isn't perfect, but it's very nice. Defiant1

Defiant1 Yeah. So let's see, mine, your's, the guy in the article's, Chuck's (which ain't leaving), Pauline's (?[is that your's?]), and I guess Riptide's offerer. There aren't many out there. Mine's not in good condition at all, but I just wanted it for the story and to actually have the comic.

Chuck, The article guy, me, you, a friend of Pauline's that changed her/his mind about selling, Pauline's(?), and another one that might have gone to Riptide. One might have been counted twice. Either way, 6 or 7 are confirmed to have survived. Obviously more are out there... but how do you reach the people? They don't collect comics. retailers won't know what it is. They won't offer anything for it at all. Defiant1
