I can take or leave Eric Powell's stuff. He does seem to have a bit of a following. Today a retailer had a San Diego Comic Con Exclusive for sale at the Atlanta Comic Con. That hardly makes it exclusive does it?! Not only that, they had special numbering and were limiting it to twenty copies. I said what the hell and bought one for $15. Notice the numbering... 8ACC/3000 .. with ACC obviously meaning "Atlanta Comic Con". defiant1

His recent "Bizarro World" arc from Action Comics is worth checking out too. It features a pretty cool "Superman/Bizarro" story co-written by Richard Donner who directed the first 2 Superman movies. I heard his "Goon" stuff is good but haven't checked 'em out yet.

I heard his "Goon" stuff is good but haven't checked 'em out yet. I used to try to get into quality indy books. They are more consistent in quality because it's usually one person doing it all. Again, I'm not a big fan of Eric Powell. It's not horrible or anything, it's just not a style I like. Q
