I really like those first cards you posted... now I must get a tin to get these great cards.
I like how they give you insight to Prudence & Caution. I am sure that the vying for dominance between Caution and his arm would have made for some GREAT stories... and um.... 'romance' ? hot darn....

It's amazing how many variations they made. The 9 card sheets are probably cut from a larger poster size sheet. I don't know how many 9-card sets you can fit on a poster, but they are probably all different. Defiant1

the uncut 9 card sheets are not from a larger poster because all 4 variations have an ad on the back side for plasm 2nd edition binders.they are an oversized promo card.maybe i can send a pic of them if you want.

this is the earliest defiant promo that i have notice the block plasm letters and on the back side there are no logos next to the words defiant and the river group Its rare that I can feel like I have a unique item...but I actually have this. Seeing this, made me go find mine. I had it in my 1st Plasm binder (I have 3) and I put it in the Splatterball plastic page sheeting. But if I remember correctly...it did not come with the Plasm binder. Im trying to remember just how I got it. Im figuring it came in either a Previews book which had fall out promo cards like this....or....it was one of those promos that the comic shop just had a stack of and I picked one up. But, Im leaning towards the Previews. Anyone know? Also...Mine has the block letters like this one. And...I remember this was like my 1st exposure to Defiant. I remember I was all gung-ho to get the Plasm binder. I still say that the Previews comic ruined that binder's uniqueness. I remember it just took all the steam out of that binder. It also just felt like Defiant got off on the wrong foot. It was bad PR from the get go as those who got the binder like me....got the rug pulled from under us when just weeks before Previews came out with the same book in free comic format. I seem to remember even some dealers kind of pissed about it. But anyway...Im not the Defiant expert. That all that I remember. Is there any significance to this card?

the uncut 9 card sheets are not from a larger poster because all 4 variations have an ad on the back side for plasm 2nd edition binders.they are an oversized promo card.maybe i can send a pic of them if you want. I'm just saying that almost all card products are made in larger sheets and the items are then trimmed down to whatever size item they are promoting. If they wanted to make 4 variations of the 9-card set, all it takes is making a poster with 4 different 9 card sets and then cutting it into the 4 sets. they can put whatever they want on the back. The sets could all be the same or not be the same.. depending on whether they wanted variations to exist. defiant1
