I always thought it was weird how they converted a "romance" book character into a superhero. Didn't they end up making Buzz Baxter a bad guy called Mad-Dog or something like that?

I know he was in the Avengers issues that had the early Hellcat appearances, but I don't remember the details. I may have a Mad-Dog comic in my "junk" stock, but I've never read it. I thought it would be funny if this is a key book where they got married. I started reading it but fell asleep.

Defiant1 Is this the Mad-Dog comic you have?: www.andymangels.com/maddog.htmlThat book has nothing to do with the Buzz Baxter version of Mad Dog. Buzz was already divorced from Patsy at the time of those Avengers issues you mentioned. He became Mad Dog in Defenders #125 where he attempted to bust up the wedding of Patsy and Daimon Hellstrom. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Dog_(comics)

#125 might be after I got out of comics. I thought I bought the ones I was missing when I got back into comics. Defenders, The #125 (GCD Hosted Image) I was thinking about Mad-Dog title which I would never read anyway. It looks like crap from the covers. The character in the defenders doesn't ring a bell.
