I wondered the exact same thing. Greg Boone has some thinking that skirts the edge. Especially in regards to UFO's. I've always wondered why Boone didn't do work for Broadway. Maybe that sums it up?

One thing that interests me about this page is the note for the inker to leave off some shading. The Broadway artwork also makes it clear that the artists weren't sure what comic they were drawing for. They knew this was going to be in Shadow State, but someone didn't know which issue.
