Dave, would this be a Charlton? The indicia states it as published by Humor Magazines Inc. , with the office of publication being the Charlton Building in Derby, Conn. It is the size of a comic book, with 68 pages (including the cover):

It is the size of a comic book, with 68 pages (including the cover): Sounds like it. Charlton like many other publishers back then had multiple names they used in the indicia If it's printed in Derby I'd say it has to be Charlton. What size is it? I have a "Good Humor" Men's magazine from that time period. I also have Cartoon Spice and Good Humor which were published in more of a comic format with gag panels all throughout. The mens magazine features more articles than cartoons. Defiant1

It is the size of a regular Silver Age comic, with 68 pages. I picked it up several years ago, when I purchased a huge collection of vintage men's mags (including Playboy #1). I sold some of them a few years ago, and am just now getting around to selling off the rest. Even though it is stained, it reads well, with no mold or stuck pages. Some of the gags are by top cartoon artists of the time, like Ward. I didn't see it listed on your Charlton list, so I figured it either wasn't a Charlton, or it's fairly obscure. Do you think it will get any nibbles if I start it out on ebay at $5?

Any publication with the CDC tag is a Charlton (it stands for Capitol Distributing Corporation).

I'm not on ebay though. Defiant1

Wow! Now I might get $10 out of it. It's looks so purty!!! If you aren't in a rush to sell it, I'm willing buy it sometime down the road but it won't be soon. Right now the bills keep piling on. Got another flat tire this week. Need brakes. Defiant1

By the way. I may have already said it, but this series went at least 4 issues.

If not, I may do a deeper seach, just for my own satisfaction. No scans found. These are not on any comic sites I frequent because I cross referenced GCD, CPG, Overstreet, an old Krause guide, Mile High, Lonestar, Heritage, Metropolis, and dozens upon dozens of lesser visited "for sale" pages. I used to do "adult humor" searches on Ebay and this never came up. People don't really realize the extent to which I try to make my lists the most complete and accurate reference out there. The hardest thing is weeding out the errors in some of those respected reference sources. If Overstreet lists something in error or GCD posts a poor quality scan with the wrong color scheme, they get copied everywhere. I truly smiled when you posted the scan. I like uncovering comics not generally known to exist. Defiant1

Found another hard-to-find Charlton, but it's a celebrity scandals magazine, no cartoons. Thought I'd share it anyway. REVEALED Vol. 1 #1 July/August 1957:

My only comment about that cover is utterly tasteless humor. When I censor what I'm saying.... you know it's sick.
Definitely like seeing this. Can you tell me what publishing company is in the indicia. I've used that type of info online to find other obscure publications from Charlton.

Too bad about the staining, but I thought it was a good find anyway. I wonder what the print runs were for these? Not sure. I've never found clear information on where and how they were distributed. A lot of publishers were making comics of this type, even publishers you would not associate with comics. I'm assuming these were sold alongside adult men's magazines like Playboy. Defiant1
