I don't have a lot of Wolverine issues. I do have a #1 somewhere that I bought in a bulk lot. This is one I picked up when I got back into comics in 1991. It seems like this was greatly hyped at the time and it had a die cut cover. I guess the Silvestri art is fine. I'm not wild about it, but it's okay. Wolverine #50 Defiant1

one of the many gimmick covers of the time. By the time the ongoing Wolverine book was released, I already thought Wolverine was overexposed and had no interest in it. Wolverine was easily my favorite character during the Claremont/Byrne run and into the first mini series by Miller.

I liked him in Hulk #181, but never cared for him after they started developing him further.

These both had variants evidently. I'd like to think there was a reason I bought these, but I didn't really read or buy many Wolverine comics. Wolverine #133 Wolverine #145 (Foil Claws on the cover) I have 2 copies of #145 for some reason. Defiant1

Defiant1 I really got to hating Wolverine, when all I ever seen anymore was stupid pictures of him like this. He literally has went from being a great character into someone who is only there to make a face and strike a silly pose.

As I said before, I liked Wolverine in his 1st appearance. From that point forward I've liked him less and less with every ounce of character development they've done. The only thing that has helped like the character was the X-Men movies. The movie made him come across as more plausible. I'm not wild about any drawing that shows spit strings in the mouth. I think it looks stupid.
