I heard he's starting to sell full original art issues of the early MarvelGroo run (cover, interior pages and back cover art of each comic) for $10-12 grand per issue number. All the inked pages of the run he kept for years of the old run. The Image and Dark Horse original artworks have been out there for years but the old Marvel run was never available before. That seems like a better deal than what the IDW shop is offering for one original art page that looks like a regular commission. But it's up there in price.

What about the Pacific stuff? Did Marvel reprint that? Defiant1

Marvel reprinted the early eclipse stuff in the Groo Chronicles #1-6 and then Graphitti Designs collected that in a nice hardcover. I don't know about the original art from the Eclipse run. Now i'm curious.

Defiant1 Eclipse published Groo Special #1 after Pacific went out of business, then Groo went to Epic, as far as I recall.

The GrooEclipse Special reprinted a short story from the Destroyer Duck #1 too. The special was supposed to be printed at Pacific before they went out of business. There were even old back cover ads with the Groo Special's cover art having the Pacific logo instead of Eclipse on the cover. This thread makes me want to re-read the run from the start again.

I seem to recall Pacific's Groo #1 being a $30 for awhile. I had about 3 copies and they were in nice condition. I think one went into my trade for a Strange Tales #110 which was my second trade after I first got back into comics. Defiant1
