I don't care for any of it. I think Araknis had some interesting art. I probably own some of those. I hate Creed. He's "cartoony" and looks like Chucky from the horror series to me. You couldn't pay me to take them. A lot of B&W junk at the top of the list. Interesting topics and covers, but nothing good inside. The only plus to Lightning comics are that some have interesting nude variants. I don't go out of my way to stockpile that stuff. I have the 1st hellina in my collection. I laughed when I saw it. Oh well, worst case is I blew $20. Not the first time that's happened. ;D
I bought some comics from that dude last year, and when I got the box he had custom made an interior box with dual dividers and a lot of padding to keep the comics from moving around. I was pretty impressed with that and kept him on my favorite sellers list, which is how I saw this lot.

Rocket2600 who posts here once in a while has a Lightning Comics checklist, maybe this will help. www.comiccovers.net/Lightning.html

I collect a few Lighting comics I'm like Defiant1. dont care for Creed . The only ones I like are Hellina, Purg, Bloodfire, And maybe 1 or 2 others. I Got a few of the specials. Kind of like odd ball stuff. There another dead universe to collect.

Judging from that checklist they have more variant covers than regular editions. I must confess I have yet to crack one open; I'll give it a try when those books get here.

Got these books today. That guy did me a solid with the way he boxed those books, double packed and bubble wrapped. The PO apparently dropped the heavy box on a corner, but not one of the books was damaged.
Pretty interesting stuff. I'm happy with the order.

I can thankfully say i don't own a lot of comics from Lightning Comics. Oddly enough, I have 4 copies of this comic. Three are the regular version and one is a variant cover. I don't own the Deodato nude variant. Bloodfire/Hellina #1 (Regular Cover) Bloodfire/Hellina #1A (Variant Cover) Hawbaker if I'm not mistaken was a Continuity Studios artist at one point. I know Deodato was. The art is not bad in this. It's better than what I see in many modern comics. Defiant1

Early Hellina appearances were an easy sell back when these were coming out. Perg #6 Defiant1
