After the bulls#!t I went through with parking last year, I will not be attending Dragon Con this year and probably not in future years either. Upon contacting Dragon Con management last year, they felt no inclination to do anything about my unsatisfactory experience while visiting the show. If you park around the show, be warned that 400% price gouging may occur at the nicer lots. At some less desireable lots (all managed by the same company), the attendants illegally seized my vehicle by applying a steel wheel boot. They saw me drop the money into the box with their own eyes, yet still applied the boot anyway. Had they not unlocked it, I would have gotten a lawyer involved. The slimebags hope that you are so annoyed with them that you pay the $50 fine rather than demand they unlock the boot on your vehicle. One thing I did notice was that the lots appear to mark the tires with chalk... I believe it is done to flag a notification to the employees that a vehicle had paid prior to a emptying of the cash drop box. I'm tempted to go downtown during Dragon Con and mark chalk on people's tires to confuse the @holes that run the lots.
