I was a fan of Frank Cho fairly early. I'm kinda burnt out on his stuff now. I like his stuff, I wouldn't mind having a set of Liberty Meadows just for the covers, they're usually funny and he draws the female lead character very well.

I dont care too much for the little side cartoon characters, but he draws women nice and clean and well....pretty hot! I especially like this one. Im not one to care much for saucy cartoon characters...but this is nice!

Well, that's pretty much the way it was for me. The humor never reached the level of Bloom County. As Gowaltrip says, I don't care much for the side characters if he can draw brandy as well as he does. It's such a waste of talent when a good artist draws cartoons instead of a more realistic look. defiant1

Before Frank Cho was drawing for Marvel, I was buying everything I saw with his name on it. I had the University 2 book. I had the first dozen or so Liberty Meadows comics... in triplicate. When the Frank Cho Illustrator book came out I was still a fan, but I wanted to see him draw something besides cartoon characters. I probably would not have gotten the book except I bought it from him directly at Dragon Con and he signed it. Evidently my copy is not one of the signed and numbered editions. Those were limited to 400 copies and my copy is not numbered. My copy is signed and personalized with a small sketch. I think that's pretty cool. I had long quit buying Liberty Meadows when these came out. I probably got them when a store closed. I probably paid a whopping 20 cents for both. Liberty Meadows #32 Liberty Meadows #33 I got tired of this because I felt his talent was wasted on it. I have the first 12 or so issues in triplicate. Defiant1

Added a scan to #7 & #8 above. Combined 2 threads and eliminated 1 thread which just had a duplicate scan of #1.

I saw a lot of potential in Frank Cho's art after seeing this. It took awhile to get one, but I had it before the Liberty Meadows comic ever came out. I was kinda expecting it to be a 2nd printing (if they did one), but I see nothing inside to indicate that it's not a first printing. University² Defiant1
