I was one of the editors and writers at Defiant comics. I noticed a couple of art credits listed on your site that are incorrect. E-mail me outside the forum ( epolgardy@mac.com), and I will let you know which ones need to be updated. I also have bio info about me if you are interested.

Hi Ed...thanks for posting up with us.
You guys really did great work there. I was a helluva Dark Dominion fan, but I own all of the other titles also. I wish it could have gone on longer.
What are you up to now??? Unfortunately I am out of the loop on newer comics, so if that sounds like a stupid question, please forgive my ignorance.
Keep coming back...we'd love to have you in some of our lively discussions...lol.

I do have some creator info pages, but as odd as it may seem, I have not incorporated the Defiant credits into those yet. If a page dedicated to you is lacking... it just means I haven't got to it yet. I've sent an email. Most of the credit info I pulled from the published comics themselves. Any supplementary credits I added came from artwork, editorials, and anything else which I could cross-reference. I don't mind being corrected. I was typing some of that info at 2AM. My eyes might have been half shut. I'm also bad about "cut and paste" errors when I try to save time on typing. Let me know what needs fixing. I DO want all the credits to be accurate.

I was looking for an old CINEMAGRAPHIX thread and found this instead. Mr. Polgardy ranks as the rudest and most obnoxious Defiant creator that ever wasted my time. Regardless, while clicking through some links I found news that his company had collaborated with Moonstone comics back in 2006. Moonstone published their graphic novel "THE NIGHT DRIVER". A 99ยข sampler comic was created to promote it. Never heard of it? Neither have I. www.cinemagraphix.com/news01.html(note:email addresses blanked out in the above messages) wait... I must add this stellar project "Intelllidogs". www.cinemagraphix.com/projects/intellidogs/intellidogs-s3.jpg[/img]Simply stunning. Q

Simply stunning. Q ;D /Magnus Aren't you just baffled as to why that screen treatment hasn't been made into a movie? Defiant1

I was looking for an old CINEMAGRAPHIX thread and found this instead. Mr. Polgardy ranks as the rudest and most obnoxious Defiant creator that ever wasted my time. Any details on this? Don't think I heard this story before. BTW, the above "comic" was painful to read, thanks for subjecting us to that... He wrote the above post to tell me how wrong the credits were and offer a bio. I emailed him back stating that the credits listed on my site came from the comics themselves and they even included corrections made on follow-up editorial pages. Defiant had accidentally left off credits on Dark Dominion, a title I believe he edited. He writes back insisting that I am wrong and to call him about it. Most of my daytime hours are occupied with work or being on the road. I do not own nor have a desire to own a cell phone. I'm not going to call him from work. I asked if he could put what he has to say in an email. I offered to send a list of the credits which I did. He said he would review the consolidated list and get back with me. He never responded and left it all up in the air. This was the most rude instance of a creator writing me and then having no intention of following up. He basically wasted my time and effort. Essentially it became clear to me that some creators just expect me to be an ass kisser which is something I've never been. They want me to plug their work and market it for them. Normally I do that anyway, but when people act like it's my obligation, I take issue with that. My site is a 100% donation of my time. It is not a second job. I'm not getting paid. If anything I get treated like an idiot and people expect me to pay hundreds of dollars for collectibles that would have been worthless prior to me spotlighting it. Generally I treat people as I would expect to be treated. If I was to lie, I'd expect to be treated like a liar. If I'm lazy, I expect to be treated like a lazy person. In his case he accused me of posting incorrect credits yet provided not one single evidence supporting his claim. INTJ personalities have no respect for that. I just found his whole tone in his email unacceptable. If people take a haughty tone with me, I can dish it out tenfold. It's just not the right way to approach me, He was just a hired hand as far as I'm concerned. A cog in the wheel that was easily replaced. One thing I did notice was that Janet made him a web page after he found my page. He evidently reconnected with her through my site. Defiant1
