What other unpublished Defiant pages are out there? So far there's:
-The rest of Dark Dominion #11 -The rest of Dogs of War #6 -The middle of Schism #1
Was that it? Were there any more Defiant or Schism books drawn up? Does the Schism #4 page mean there's pencils for all four issues or only that page was made up? Did anything ever happen with Mongrel (I think I read that in one of Shooter's columns)? Thanks to anyone that knows anything.

Were there any more Defiant or Schism books drawn up? Does the Schism #4 page mean there's pencils for all four issues or only that page was made up? Did anything ever happen with Mongrel (I think I read that in one of Shooter's columns)? Thanks to anyone that knows anything. An inker online had said the pages to War Dancer #7 were beautiful, but unfortunately "lost". Pauline Weiss claims they are not lost, but that Alan Weiss has them. I know it is packed away and accessibility might be a problem, but scans of the artwork might eventually show up here. J.G. Jones supposedly still has some of his old Dark Dominion pages (whether published or not--I don't know), but I received no reply to my email about acquiring them. I don't know if the email address I have from him is wrong or not. Greg Boone stops by occasionally. He claims to have the unpublished art to Good Guys #10. When I inquired about that, he was in Los Angeles and the art was in New York. Lack of accesibility was a factor on that. I have virtually all of the art to Dogs of War #6 posted. I might be missing 2 pages. Although I only own just a few of the original unpublished pages to #6, Georges Jeanty had photocopied pencils of almost the entire book. Those were a very kind donation that he gave to the site earlier this year. I have no info or knowledge about any unpublished Plasm at all. David Lapham and I have never been in communication. I have no info or knowledge about any unpublished Charlemagne at all. Adam Pollina and I have never been in communication. Joe James and I have never communicated. I don't know if he was working on anything. I have no information on Glory or Great Grimmax... or whether any art was in process. I have no info on Prudence and Caution except that the same inker who claimed the War Dancer art was lost, also said that production on the series was stalled because they were unsure which direction to take the series. I have had no communication with Chris Claremont or artist Jim Fern nor the inker which posted his comments on another messageboard. I have always theorized that Broadway Comics' Fatale character was a reworking of the Prudence character. That's just my out-of-the-blue guess. I have reasons for that guess, but I'd rather not elaborate further since it is only speculation. My understanding was that no art for Schism #3 or #4 existed. I was shocked to see a color page for issue #4 completed. I believe that some pages for #2 exist. I'd have to go back and reread some emails to find out for sure. I have had no communication with Dave Taylor (Tongue Lash) who drew issue #1. Art Holcomb has some unpublished scripts. I'm so far behind on updates, If everyone donated the unpublished material today, it would still takes weeks or months for me to get it all posted. Defiant1

Awesome, thanks for the info. Do you know if Lapham was going to pencil any Schism issues? Do you know who penciled the page from #4? I figure Shooter would have had him at least do the last volume.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Do you know if Lapham was going to pencil any Schism issues? Do you know who penciled the page from #4? I figure Shooter would have had him at least do the last volume. I originally thought Lapham was supposed to pencil all of Schism. It wasn't until I received photographs of issue #1 that I learned otherwise. I haven't been able to figure out who did that page from #4. It certainly could be Lapham, and the backgrounds remind me of Lapham, but the faces on the characters do not remind me of Lapham. It may be that the inker did more finishing than I'm used to seeing over Lapham's work. Maybe Lapham just did layouts for the entire series? Here is how it was solicited.... SCHISM # 1 by Shooter & Defiant creators, Wein, & Lapham This is it! Defiant's first-ever summertime crossover series! The Dark God Chasm seeks the end of the Schism that has separated the Dream time from reality. He means to own all existence, and become Sole Creator. Thus, he makes war upon Avalon, the one bastion of hope, where Glimmer, Thrahkahl, and the Forces of Hope have gathered. Meanwhile, War Dancer and Charlemagne duel, and the Org threatens the Earth. Believe it: If you live in this universe, then Schism involves...you! FC, 48pg ........................................... $3.25 SCHISM #2 by Shooter & Defiant creators, Wein, & Lapham The Good Guys strive alongside the Warriors of Plasm to hold the bridge to Earth, while Glimmer and Nobody invade Hell Itself to free the essence of Zahn-Rhee! Also: War Dancer, Charlemagne, and Prudence battle Men and Gods! FC, 48pg ........................................... $3.25 SCHISM # 3 by Shooter & Defiant creators, Wein, & Lapham The heroes of the Defiant Universe are losing on every front. It becomes clear that they cannot win, and that they should cut their losses and run. Their only hope: salvage some kind of sanctuary from which to regroup and battle anew! FC, 48pg ............................................ $3.25 SCHISM #4 by Shooter & Defiant creators, Wein, & Lapham The saga of the Dreamtime merging with the Earth comes to a startling climax! Prepare for a shock-the Defiant Universe will never be the same. FC, 48pg ............................................ $3.25 Defiant1
