My Little Margie #18 This scan had a bad color pallette. I tried to make my best guess as far as adjusting the day glo color back into what a normal Charlton comic from the 50's would have. Normally, I wouldn't use a scan that bad, but this is going to be a series where it's difficult to get high quality scans. Defiant1

Mr. Muscles #23 Defiant1 Didn't Jerry Siegel create Mr. Muscles? You are correct. It's one of only a handful of Charltons that would interest me as a collector (other than the adult humor stuff). Defiant1

I thought the name was familiar. I vaguely remember the name from Gerard Jones' "Men of Tomorrow" when he listed Siegel's after-Superman characters. I have a soft spot for Siegel & Shuster's Funnyman and was planning on tracking down some of Siegel's other non-DC characters.
Looks like Mr. Muscles made the list.

I think you'll want to include Nature Boy. covergallery.sinfree.net/Charlton/Nature_Boy/Nature_Boy.htmlI just noticed that Nature Boy numbering picks up where Mr. Muscles left off. Probably not a coincidence. I haven't started compiling all the info on where the numbering picked up after a series ends. Defiant1

Ha! That's awesome! A friend of mine just sent me a Siegel/Shuster checklist. Need to research to see how correct it is.
I did a quick search at mycomicshop.com and they say Nature Boy became "L'il Rascal Twins" with #6.

It was a loophole to the red tape. Kirby did some short lived Charlton stuff. The 50's were a rough time for comics. Companies were shutting down left and right. Defiant1

Can't wait to see how far this can go.

Whenever you collect info, it enables you you find interesting things within that info. Several other sites already collect the info on where the numbering shifts. It's not a high priority for me now. Defiant1

Confidential Diary #17 (UK Version) Settling for lower quality scans of the foreign versions. Strangely enough, this is still better than the GCD scan. They have the UK comic posted where an American one should be. Defiant1
