Ive been eyeballing this one for awhile and I finally picked it up. I love the cover and one other great appeal about it is it was done by the late great Jim Aparo! I love the colors of this cover!

Here is a really nice Ditko cover and this cover also reappears in an interior story. Honestly, I think some of Ditko's best work came in Charlton books. Im not a tremendous Ditko fan, but when he hits it, I really love his style. I notice he hit it a lot with Charlton. Although, the opposite is true too. I have seen some of his works looked rushed and raw and not that great. I cannot say that about this one. I think this one is a real nice piece of work.

Here is an example of Ditko looking a bit rushed to me. But Ive seen a heck of a lot worse. But, even still, I think he work sometimes has a quirky LSD type atmosphere that Ive come to enjoy. So even though this isnt a favorite piece....I still like it.

Well, that about does it for the books I got on Saturday, except 1 not pictured I got from the dumpster. Anyway, moving on. Brother J, I forgot to mention that I liked the Romance books you put up. I have none of them. The Romance books I do have come from Q. I was lucky enough that some time ago, he sent me a huge collection of Charltons which really picked my collection way up and put me on the frantic path I am currently on. It was his contribution that sort of put me on my way. I can thank him enough. Anyway, here is one of the Romance books he sent me. I love the drama here...

I have quite a few of these because they are usually cheap and easy to get. My wife hates them because they are gray and dark and kind of bland looking. I think when I picked up my 1st one a long time ago, I felt the same way. But now, I have grown kind of fond of them. This is perhaps my favorite cover of the ones I own.

I have a few of the Westerns too. Again, usually cheap when you find them. I found this one in a dumpster for less than $1. I thought it was a steal because its an early 80s edition in way above average shape!

Gotta grab any Ditko cover when it looks like he was trippin off acid. Gotta love it when Ditko did drugs.

Well, that it for this time. Its getting late. Hopefully I have convinced someone, or at least pushed them in the direction of thinking..."They weren't ALL bad"....

Dang.....now I want to pick up some Space Adventures books now......
I did just pick up the hardback version of some of the Ditko stories. It has a fun cover. I'll try to find a pic of it (I'm at work).

The guy who publishes the Twomorrows books says he always puts his favorite cover on the hardback.
